Not everyone is lucky

But some might just be,

Society is struggling

Is that so hard to see?

Some of us are blessed

But not nearly enough,

Take a look at the streets

And see who’s sleeping rough

The rich are staying rich

Whilst the rest of us barely scrape by,

It is only in our dreams

That we are soaring way up high

Equality would be the key

If society could see us all the same,

There would be no rich or poor

And we could end this silly game.

It is not great wealth in a few individuals that proves a country is prosperous, but great general wealth evenly distributed among the people
