I couldn't recommend this film enough! It shows us insight into the life of a young prostitute living in Los Angeles, who meets a very wealthy businessman who turns her life around.

For me this film is a perfect example of wealth inequality and the main characters are from two completely different walks of life, Vivian the female main character is extremely poor doing anything to make a living, whilst Edward is a rich entrepreneur.

When the pair meet, Edward is not interested in what Vivian is offering, he simply wanted directions. This is the start of their relationship. Throughout the film, we see Edward provide for Vivian and give her experiences she would have never had prior to meeting him.

So, this shows how wealth can buy you opportunities that young wouldn't get by being poor. I highly recommend this film as it is very eye opening and heartwarming.

However, it does make you see the reality that it is just a film and not everyone is lucky enough to meet a rich man that can save you from poverty.

It is not great wealth in a few individuals that proves a country is prosperous, but great general wealth evenly distributed among the people
